Cali Camp has announced its 2026 summer season in Topanga Canyon, scheduled from June 15 to August 14. Located in the Santa Monica Mountains, the day camp offers a natural setting for young attendees.
Established in 1955, the camp serves children aged 4 to 15 with a wide range of activities. These include arts and crafts, horseback riding, ropes courses, go-karts, zip lines, and swimming. Specialty programs, such as Wrangler Camp for horse enthusiasts aged 8-14 and a Junior Leaders program for 14-15 year olds, are also available.
Families interested in learning more can attend one of the camp's Open Houses. Dates for 2026 are February 22, March 22, April 19, and May 17, with all sessions running from 10 am to 1 pm. No RSVP is required, allowing visitors to tour the property and meet staff.
The demand for diverse, nature-based summer programs continues to grow as parents seek enriching experiences for their children. Families increasingly prioritize activities that foster skill development, social interaction, and outdoor engagement away from digital screens. Camps like Cali Camp address this trend by offering a broad range of traditional and specialized programs in a natural setting.
This approach provides children with opportunities to explore new interests, develop physical abilities, and build confidence within an environment that encourages discovery and healthy development, aligning with a broader societal push for holistic youth development.
